Offset plates

FUJIFILM Tilburg has been making offset plates for the graphics industry since August 1991. Printing companies use these plates to print newspapers, magazines, packaging materials, books and advertising material, for example.
The offset plates are supplied to printers in Europe, Africa and a large part of Asia, via an extensive distribution system.

Fujifilm is currently building the third production line for offset plates in Tilburg. This third production line will make us the largest Fujifilm offset plates producer in the world.

Innovation
Fujifilm Tilburg consistently develops and improves its offset plates. Sustainability is an important area of attention during development of the plates.

Innovative offset plates:
Computer-to-Plate: this digital method has become a trendsetter in recent years. The Computer-to-plate equipment exposes the plate directly, no longer requiring the use of litho film.
Pro-V and Pro-VN: these offset plates are innovative. The most important change in these new offset plates is less use of chemicals by printers. Another name for these plates is therefore lo-chem (low chemical).
PRO-T: these offset plates go one step further again. Following exposure in a plate setter, the plate is developed directly on the printing press.
