Excellight

In 2008, FUJIFILM introduced Excellight, a special type of ink jet medium for advertising applications. This is a carrier for illuminated advertising messages, such as advertising in stores and at airports. A particular characteristic of Excellight is that it gives an especially strong representation of the colours, day and night.

Excellight Backlit Film is an inkjet product used mainly in the graphics industry, which can be printed with (eco) solvent, UV cured, Latex and screen printing inks. Excellight was developed in Tilburg and production also takes place at this location.

Excellight offers added value for clients: It is recyclable, uses less ink, and the advertising display does not require lighting in daytime, thus saving energy. Furthermore, the strong colours make it particularly attractive.
