Manufacturing Europe B.V. Manufacturing Europe B.V.On 29 September 2008, a Shinto ritual took place in Tilburg which precedes the construction of a new factory for FUJIFILM in Tilburg. FUJIFILM will construct a new line for offset plates which will be finalized by the end of 2009.

The factory will produce a new generation of offset plates which uses less chemicals. FUJIFILM will also make the production more sustainable by investing 2.7 million euro in a so-called co-generative thermal oxidizer which will reduce the CO2 exhaust of the company yearly with 8500 ton.
The total investment costs for the new line will be approximately 96 million euros.
